1. Introduction
DONJUAN&CO LTD ("DonJuan&Co", "we", "our", or "us") operates skill-based prize competitions in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
Every competition offered on www.donjuanandco.com includes a free postal entry route. This ensures that participation is available without requiring the purchase of an online entry.
Participation via the free postal route provides exactly the same chance of winning as a paid online entry.
No purchase is necessary.
2. No Purchase Necessary
Purchasing an online entry does not increase the odds of winning.
Every valid entry received through either:
- our website;
- the free postal route;
is allocated one valid competition entry and has an identical probability of being selected during the draw.
3. Eligibility
To submit a postal entry you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- satisfy all eligibility requirements contained within our Terms & Conditions;
- correctly answer the competition skill question;
- provide accurate personal information;
- comply with this Postal Entry Policy.
Employees, contractors or anyone prohibited under the Terms & Conditions are not eligible.
4. Postal Entry Instructions
Each entry must be submitted using one separate, unenclosed postcard.
The following information must appear clearly on every postcard:
- Full Name
- Residential Address
- Email Address
- Telephone Number
- Competition Title
- Correct Answer to the Skill Question
- Confirmation that you have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions
Example wording:
"I confirm that I have read and agree to the DonJuan&Co Terms & Conditions."
All information must be typed or written legibly in English.
Entries that cannot be read or processed will be rejected.

6. Entry Limits
Unless otherwise specified on an individual Competition Page:
- One competition entry per postcard.
- One postcard per envelope.
- Each postcard represents one entry only.
Multiple entries contained within one envelope will not be processed.
Photocopies, scans or mechanically reproduced postcards are not accepted.
7. Competition Closing Date
Postal entries must arrive before the official competition closing date published on the Competition Page.
The date of postage is not considered.
DONJUAN&CO LTD cannot guarantee delivery times through any postal operator.
Late entries cannot be accepted.
8. Processing of Postal Entries
Each valid postal entry is manually verified before being entered into the competition system.
Provided all eligibility requirements have been satisfied, the postal entry receives:
- one competition number;
- identical treatment to paid entries;
- identical odds of winning.
No distinction is made between paid and free entries during the winner selection process.
9. Confirmation of Receipt
Where reasonably practicable, DONJUAN&CO LTD will send a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of a valid postal entry.
Failure to receive such confirmation does not automatically indicate that an entry has been received.
Entrants remain responsible for ensuring their entry complies with this Policy.
10. Invalid Entries
Entries may be declared invalid where:
- information is incomplete;
- handwriting cannot reasonably be read;
- the skill question has been answered incorrectly;
- multiple entries appear on one postcard;
- entries arrive after the closing date;
- false information has been provided;
- duplicate identities are used;
- another person's identity has been used;
- automated or bulk submissions are detected;
- the entrant fails the eligibility requirements.
DONJUAN&CO LTD reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent activity.
Where fraud is suspected, all associated entries may be cancelled.
11. Fraud Prevention
To ensure fairness for all participants, we operate fraud prevention procedures including identity verification where appropriate.
We reserve the right to request additional documentation before awarding any prize.
Attempts to manipulate the competition, submit entries under multiple identities or otherwise circumvent these rules may result in permanent exclusion from future competitions.
12. Personal Data
Personal information collected through postal entries is processed solely for:
- competition administration;
- winner verification;
- fraud prevention;
- compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Personal data is processed in accordance with:
- UK GDPR;
- Data Protection Act 2018;
- our Privacy Policy.
Information will never be sold to third parties.
Data may be retained where legally required for regulatory, auditing or fraud prevention purposes.
13. Equal Treatment
DONJUAN&CO LTD guarantees that:
- free entries receive exactly the same chance of winning;
- free entries are entered into the same draw;
- free entries are not identified during winner selection;
- no preference is given to paid entries.
Winner selection is conducted solely in accordance with the published Competition Terms & Conditions.
14. Limitation of Liability
DONJUAN&CO LTD accepts no responsibility for:
- lost mail;
- delayed deliveries;
- damaged postcards;
- illegible entries;
- postal disruptions;
- technical or administrative circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Proof of posting does not constitute proof of receipt.
15. Changes
DONJUAN&CO LTD reserves the right to amend this Postal Entry Policy where reasonably necessary to comply with legal, regulatory or operational requirements.
